I received the following e-mail from Foster and Smith this week:

Dear Aquarium Care Educator,

Congratulations! The votes are in, nominations
reviewed, and we're pleased to announce that your
site has earned a 2009 Fins Up Recognition Honor.
You're invited to visit the link below to receive
your new banner you can proudly display.

Our "Fins Up" program recognizes websites and blogs
for their effort in helping aquarium owners take better
care of their aquariums. Nominated sites who accrued the
most votes from fellow pet lovers were personally
reviewed by the program sponsor, Drs. Foster and Smith.

Thank you again for participating in our Fins Up Program.

I've updated the banner at the top of the site and will leave it up there for a while. Congrats to everyone who voted!

No clue. It would have been nice to see how many hits we got and/or where we ranked.

Unfortunately, that e-mail is all I know.
