Just curious, but what is the function of the people appointed as Trustee?
For most organization the Trustee's are the auditors of the organization and are responsible to assure that all financial transactions of the otrganization are legal per the organizations charter.
Im a trustee presently in three different organizations. As a sole trustee I basicly have no power. But as a member of the board of Trustees consisting of three trustees we have power to overrule anything that any officer does without a majority vote of the membership if we do not think that it is for the good of the organization.
Simularly I'm the Navigator of one organization now which relates closest to the Presidents position here. As Navigator if I suspect any discisions are cortriversial I cunsult to get get a majortity suport of my trustees prior to makeing that decission. But even with a majorty suport of the trustees any member can question any decission and bring it up to mambership vote which can overturn my decission as well as the trustees.
